EXTRA STRENGTH ANTI-INFLAMMATION FORMULA: Relieves pain, swelling and other common ailments associated with systemic inflammation. Curcumin extracts typically deliver a curcuminoid proportion as: diferuloylmethane (curcumin I) 75-80%; demethoxycurcumin (DMC – curcumin II) 9-12%; and bisdemethoxycurcumin (BDMC – curcumin Ill) 0.2-3%. Regular curcumin extracts (even the 95% variation) maximally delivers 3% of this BDMC activity and therefore cannot inhibit a key protein (MSKl) that regulates inflammatory cytokine transcription (generation). The patented Curcumin BioBDMC™30 is engineered to deliver a minimum 30% concentration of these MS Kl-inhibiting curcuminoids.

Ultimately: Curcumin BioBDMC inhibits two key proteins (MSKl and NF-kB) while regular curcumin 95% only inhibits one of these (NF-kB) as is commonly known to be its anti-inflammatory mechanism.

Question: Why do some other curcumin products contain black pepper (piperine) extract?

Answer: Curcumin 30+ does not contain piperine because of the high levels of the BDMC (bisdemethoxycurcurmin). The BDMC has a high bioavailability and in fact increases the half-life of the curcumin in the blood, therefore no black pepper is needed.
